• Display advertising 5pm MONDAY.
• Line advertising 4pm TUESDAY.
• If a public holiday falls in the week of publication, deadlines may be brought forward. Call for details.

Method of payment

• All advertising is to be paid for in advance. Accounts are available to approved customers only.
• Pay by cash at our office which is our preferred option.
• Send us a cheque or money order.
• Phone us with your credit card details.
• Note that the 'Wanted to rent' category will always require prepayment.

Please be aware that the paper is composed on Monday's and Tuesday's. If you lodge your ad late in the week you may not hear back from us until early the next week.

ADVERTISING CONDITIONS:

Advertisements are subject to the Publishers approval. Advertising of a defamatory or racist nature will not be accepted. Crypticly worded ads are also likely to be rejected. No responsibility is taken for any loss due to failure of any advertisement to appear. The positioning or placing of an advertisement is at the discretion of the Publisher in all cases. The Publisher reserves the right to abbreviate words in line ads where necessary. The Publisher reserves the right without notice to reject, discontinue, revise and transfer dates of publication of any advertisement placed. The conditions laid out herein are subject to change without notification at the discretion of the Publisher.

ACCOUNT TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Advertisments are accepted in good faith with the expectation that the advertiser will pay for services rendered. All advertising is to be paid for in advance with the exception of approved customers who can apply for an account. Account terms are strictly 14 days following date of invoice. In the event that the advertiser fails to pay within the agreed time the Publisher reserves the right to refer the matter to our debt collection agency. In such a case any legal, recovery or collection costs may be added to the balance outstanding.
Some advertisers may qualify for our contract rates. Committing to place a minimum of 10 advertisments within a 12 month period will qualify a advertiser for our contract rates. The content and dimensions of the advert can be changed. Booking dates for all 10 adverts will be required for the contract rate to be effective.
If the advertiser renegs on the agreement to place 10 advertisments within the 12 month period, the Publisher reserves the right to charge the advertiser the full rate.

WARRANTY AND INDEMNITY:

Advertisers and/or advertising agencies upon and by lodging material with the Publisher for publication or authorising or approving of the publication of any material INDEMNIFY the Publisher, its servants and agents against all liability claims or proceeds whatsoever arising from the publication and without limiting the generality of the foregoing to indemnify each of them in relation of defamation, slander or title, breach of copyright, infringement and trademarks or names of publication titles, unfair competition or trade practices, royalties or violation of rights against or liabilities in the Publication, its servants or agents and in particular that nothing therein is capable of being misleading or deceptive or otherwise in breach of Part V of the Trade Practices Act 1974 (and as subsequently amended).
